Purpose: To outline the process for creating Purchase Orders (PO), which are shipments going to Allpack Fulfillment.
Procedure:
Manually Enter the PO (Ideal for Smaller Orders):
1. Prior to creating a PO, please ensure your vendors are created as contacts by doing the following (if you already created the contact, please skip this step):
1. Add New Vendor
1. Click Contacts in the side menu
2. Click Add Contact
3. Set the “Contact Type” to Vendor
4. Fill in the company name and any other important information
5. Click Save
2. View Vendors
1. Click Contacts in the side menu
2. Change “Client” to Vendor > Search
3. Click Select to view/edit a specific vendor
2. Log into Fulcrum > Menu > Fulfillment > Purchasing > Purchase Orders > Add Purchase Order > Manually fill out the order > Save
1. The rule of thumb is to fill out as much information as you can. Some fields are required:
1. Make sure the Owner field auto-populated
2. Ship Via: If you select “Rate Shop” from the drop down menu, it will automatically search for the best shipping prices. This is the commonly used option.
3. Purchase Order #: This is typically the Invoice #, but if you do not have one, feel free to create your own number.
4. To add SKUs, select the green “+” icon after searching for the item(s). Make sure you add the Quantity.
Import the PO via Excel Sheet (Ideal for Larger Orders, Multiple POs, & Containers):
1. Prior to creating a PO, please ensure your vendors are created as contacts by doing the following (if you already created the contact, please skip this step):

2. Click Add Contact
3. Set the “Contact Type” to Vendor
4. Fill in the company name and any other important information
5. Click Save
2. View Vendors
1. Click Contacts in the side menu
2. Change “Client” to Vendor > Search
3. Click Select to view/edit a specific vendor
2. Use the following .csv file template to detail the PO: https://allpack3pl.shoppingcartfulfillment.com/fulcrum/help/samples/po.csv
3. Log into Fulcrum > Menu > Admin > Import
4. Under Type, Select Purchase Order
5. Upload the completed .csv file > Save
Note: For containers, please have the broker reach out to Allpack Fulfillment so we can prepare for the container by reaching out to support@allpackfulfillment.zendesk.com. Please use the KEY below for the spreadsheet template headers:
KEY:
* PO Number: List the same PO# for each item in the PO. You can input multiple POs at once (when you import the file, the system will automatically split this spreadsheet into separate POs.
* Vendor: List the vendor exactly how it appears in Fulcrum. If you don’t have the contact created in Fulcrum, leave this blank.
* PO Line Number: List 1, 2, 3, 4, and so on for each line in the order. If you have multiple POs, restart the 1, 2, 3, 4, … when the new PO begins.
* Sku: Item SKU
* Qty: How many units of the SKU are in this Purchase Order
* Cost: Manufacturing cost; this can be left blank
* UOM: This would be the abbreviated Unit of Measure. The most common one would be each, so you would type “EA”
